ISRAEL: The critics and the facts

Since its creation as a Jewish state in 1948, Israel, irrespective of the government it has, has attracted an eclectic array of irreconcilable critics. The four most notable members of this alliance are the usual suspects of Arab militants, the Anti-semites of the world, opportunistic politicians and wide eyed liberals intent on embracing the cause of any perceived aggrieved group. Among these professional liberals are many self-hating Jews intent on assimilation within the dominant Aryan cultures in which they reside, whether in Europe or America.

Criticism of Israel from the above groups is usually predicted (more…)

ISRAEL-IRAN: Why Netanyahu is Right

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes that Iran in its quest for nuclear weapons is fast approaching the point when, it would be either impossible or too costly in human lives lost to stop them. The Israeli leader argues that sanctions have done as much damage as they could ever do but have failed to elicit the behavior from Iran that the international community has sought. He wants the military option to be taken up now before it is too late.

The American government and its European allies believe that more time should be given for further economic sanctions to be applied agains (more…)

Open letter to Bishop of NY & Rome: What’s the greatest threat to my faith

The recent revelations by the New York Daily News that an unrepentant and well known racist had been hired as principal of a Catholic school in New York City has raised a number of very troubling questions. The fact that the Parish Priest who recruited the principal knew of his racist rants and remained unapologetic and the fact that the upper hierarchy of the New York Catholic Church (more…)

ISRAEL: Will America always be there?
By S. Mugwa Tebid

Over the past half century, various American administrations have pressured Israeli governments to make concessions and compromises in the negotiations with their Arab neighbors. Most often the Israeli concessions have been made to the detriment of the interests of the Jewish state in order to protect American interests in the region. These concessions have been predicated on the fact that American would always be there in support of Israel and would step in to repair any attendant damages to Israeli interests.

On a few occasions, the Israelis have (more…)
